How to add a text or logo watermark

  1. Choose the photo you want to watermark.
  2. Enter Watermark text, or select a JPG, PNG or WebP under Or use a logo. A transparent PNG logo avoids a solid logo background.
  3. Adjust size, opacity and position. For text, choose a color; enable Repeat watermark to cover more of the image.
  4. Check the live preview for clipped text and readability, then click Download PNG. Use Use text instead to switch back from a logo.

Place a subtle credit in the bottom-right corner

Enter © Your name, keep the size at 5, set opacity to 65%, and select bottom-right. Review the mark against your photo: use a dark text color on a pale background or a light color on a dark background. Download when the credit is readable without hiding the subject.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own logo instead of text?

Yes. Select a JPG, PNG or WebP logo. Its transparency is preserved when present. The color control applies to text; it does not recolor a logo.

Can I watermark many photos at once?

This editor processes one photo at a time. Batch watermarking is not currently available.

Does a watermark prevent copying?

No. A visible mark can identify your work, but it may be cropped or edited out. Use placement and repetition that fit your needs, and keep your original image.

Supported files and limits

The photo and logo must each be within 20 MB and 16 megapixels. Text is limited to 100 characters. Output is PNG; text or oversized logos may be clipped, so review the preview.

When something does not work

The watermark is hard to read

Choose a contrasting text color and adjust opacity. Inspect several areas if Repeat watermark is enabled.

My logo has a solid background

Use a transparent PNG logo. JPG logos retain their rectangular background.
